... with freakin' aces against A-rag unsuited I'm gonna kill someone...

Playing in a tourney with about 100 folks... I was in 4th place, well ahead of most... and in a span of 3 hands I got dealt pocket rockets twice...

First hand I end up heads up against pocket jacks and lose about a third of my stack. Second hand I end up heads up against A-4 off suit and the flop comes out 4-4-4. Go from 4th to done very quickly with pocket rockets twice in three hands... I know it's time to put poker down for the evening...

Well if you went one on one with em and lost what can you say,you played like ur supposed to and just lost. there are a few more factors involved..table image, position, etc. and the later in the game it is the more likely i am to slow play em, after all their still only a pair......but that runner, runner, runner looks very familar...you werent playing at ?????....o never mind.

Eh, I'm over it now... just was really pissed at the current moment when it happened two out of three hands. I've NEVER seen pocket rockets two out of three hands before...

First time around (vs. the Jacks) the dude went all in before I acted (I was small blind). After that I was in late 7th table position (with 9 at the table) and had 4 callers and 2 folders in front of me... I raised 3 times the big blind and got put all in by the chip leader at the moment who had a-4 off suit and flopped the three 4s.

I know it happens sometimes in this crazy game, but last night was just a lousy couple situations back to back. That was when it was time to walk away for the night.
